Server changeings from old php-version to php5.3 - MySQL-Function "old-password"

Hi,
have installed three different versions of gallery2.
Now I got an eMail from my hoster which said, that
they will change the actual php-version to 5.3 and that
there might be problems with MySQL-Requests using the
password()-Funktion.

I'm not shure, if there's anything to do for me, keep the
gallerys working.

Hope you can help me!
