Unable to install the core module; Error installing Gallery Core

Hi there,
I have similar problem when running G2 2.3 installer. In step 8 (install galerry core) the mssgs appear "Unable to install the core module Unable to activate the core module
Error installing Gallery Core"

My database run on a Debian server, Apache 2.0.63, PHP 5.2.6, MySQL 5.0.51a-community.

If anyone can help me out with this, it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
