What I do :
Installing and configurating esayPHP 1.6
download Gallery on sourceforge
unzip on d:webgallery
create a new alias on esayPHP configuration
install NetPBM
install Jhead

run configure.bat
Gallery Setup: Step 1 : answor question
Gallery Setup: Step 2 : answor question
Gallery Setup: Step 3 : answor question
Gallery Setup: Step 4 : NO RED
-------------------------------------------------
the problem is just after : validation of step4 :
Error: Could not acquire lock (d:/web/gallery/albums/.users/userdb.dat.lock)!Error: Could not acquire lock (d:/web/gallery/albums/.users/1032876219:1881195762.lock)!
Your configuration has been successfully saved!
An account called admin has been created for you with the password you specified.

and when I run the gallery .... i can not login in

Login to Gallery
Error: Could not acquire lock (d:/web/gallery/albums/.users/userdb.dat.lock)!
Logging in gives you greater permission to
view, create, modify and delete albums.

In page 2 of the config wizard, turn off "flock" and see if that helps.
