Hello all,
I uploaded a few jpegs using the browser interface provided, 2 files at a time. It automatically created nice thumbnails.
I had to upload 600+ jpegs to that album. I used ftp. Permissions on files are same as those for the few files uploaded earlier.
I cannot figure out how to create thumbs for the ftp-uploaded files. I searched everywhere.
I tried site admin > maintenance > Build all thumbnails/resizes. It does not create thumbs for the new files.
Is there any way to do that or I have to load 600 files one by one?
I have access to root prompt on the linux server and am familiar with linux.
Please help.
Thanks in advance.

To my knowledge you can upload as many as you want from the uploader.
Now that the upload is done, use the add server. If you don't have it then get it. Here you select files/folder on your server to display in G3. Note. Images are added in the structure they are plased. Folder = album, subfolder = nested album and image = image

Do a test run with 3 folders and 1 image in each or so. That way you know what you are doing
