[Notification] Sends multiple emails on item add

I'm not sure if this is a problem with the Notification module or the way upload modules add items but I'll throw my problem out there and let you decide. When I use the Gallery Remote or Windows Publishing Wizard to add items I get emails on watched folders for each item I add; if I add 10 items at once, I get 10 emails stating something has been added. If I use the From Web Server option to upload multiple items I get just one email for them all. I'd prefer to use the Windows Publishing Wizard or Gallery Remote to upload items but I really don't want the multiple emails mailed to people watching albums. Any ideas??

I'm thinking if modifications are required it would be easier to modify the notification module but maybe it makes more sense to modify the upload modules instead...not sure!?
