Having a picture on another site displayed in my gallery

Ok, I guess the best way of putting what I want to do is hotlink.

I would like to leverage the cost of my hosting providers services w/ the high bandwidth and low cost/gig of a service such as Amazon S3, is this currently capable of being done w/ Gallery2?

If not, does anyone know of a system w/ similar functionality to G2 that would allow this?

There were some posts on here by someone who'd hacked G2 to work with S3 I think. Have you tried googling for it? There's nothing widely used, or mainstream for G2 that will do what you want.

You're unlikely to get any suggestions about alternatives to G2 here, apart from G3 - which won't (yet) do what you want as far as I know.
