Thumbnails no longer appear, although no changes were made; can't edit photo.

I love Gallery, love all the work you put into it. Thank you!

I set up a site for my nephew a couple of years ago, and everything was going fine until we noticed that for some reason the thumbnails stopped appearing. We aren't doing anything different on the upload, so I'm not sure what is going on -- as far as I know, nothing has been changed in the site config. I can click on the text link and see the photo, but when I go to try to Edit any of them I just get a blank page [EDIT: I can successfully edit any photos added before this started happening]. Any ideas? (All of the required versioning info is below)

All albums through "Summer 2008" look fine, but starting "Fall 2008" no thumbnails appear.
