Hi everyone, i'm new to Gallery and it's pretty exciting to see something that covers so much of what I have been looking for.
One of those things, however is an advanced search (some may say boolean) which allows users to filter an entire gallery by multiple keywords. (I would be happy with just additive for now-ie: AND).
I've read quite a few comments about this as a missing feature and can see it is ranked highly in new feature requests etc. I also noticed that the discussion is very dated and there are no plans to release a new version of Gallery2.
Here's my question: does anyone have a list of the latest patches or user created search features that may not have made it into Gallery2 but are stable enough to be used by users who need them?
I would be hugely grateful for the link(s).

Thanks floridave- though it looks like there is nothing recent or close to what I need in there unfortunately.
