Adding pictures by another site

I've got a question. If I put pictures in my photobook by putting them in it by another site, will the pictures actually be uploaded to my ftp? Or will they be linked? Because when I just the link option the pictures are not shown and you have to click the link thumb to see them.

I'm asking this because of saving space on my webhost. I would love to be able to put pictures in my albums by just showing links like <img src=''....> That way I wont lose a lot space on my host.

Try the link item module.

The link item module doesn't show the pictures in the gallery itself. The open in a blank page and the small thunbnails version is the keychain image. Or am I doing something wrong here?

No it does not place the remote sites images in your gallery.
