Ok im very new to this, im creating up a website; im using godaddy for my webhosting and have uploaded gallery 2 successfully and got it up and running; using matrix theme. Want to edit the header (so matches my website) and use the same navigation bar as my website.

From what ive read, I make a local folder (mywebsite/gallery2/mytheme/templates/local), copy the theme file into it then edit the copy....

Being very new, and lets just say for the record, computer illiterate (getting better and a fast learner) how do I go about this?

use exsisitng code you have already and use this:

For very simple links in the header try the links in head module.

ok this may sound stupid, but im learning... I am creating my website with microsoft publisher. I can get to the source for the webpage by previewing it, and I can follow the module you directed me too. But, I dont know what EXACT code to use in it from the code on my page (learing as I said).

I want to use my logo and my navigation bar (maybe called breadcrumbs) to get back and forth from the few pages I have.... what should I look for on the code? I dont want to edit the page... not include something I should, include something I shouldnt and then mess it up to a point I cant fix :)

Again thanks in advance and if Im too much of a rookie for this just say.

create a page with the word Gallery where you want the gallery to show including the rest of your navigation and logo.
post that url here.

Ok, I uploaded the webpages where you can look at it. Hope this is what you meant. What I want is the "melikey" on the top of the Gallery with the navigation bar also on the gallery page.

ok I redid it as you asked (need to follow directions better); photo page has "gallery in this space" like you asked. Want all on that page to be on the gallery.

Thanks for the patience on this.

After looking at the code......Now I know what editor NOT to use!

Anyway....take the attached file and place it in your gallery direcotry. You will need to edit lines that say EXAMPLE in the file for your domain.
Save it as gallery2Embedded.php

Much thanks floridave; appreciate the patience in helping.

I fixed the "example" (x2), saved it as directed (gallery2Embedded.php), put it in gallery2 directory (same location as main.php); I then went to gallery, cleared out the theme cache, but no change. Anything else I need to do that im missing?

Well looking at the source you have src=image380.gif so I wuld assume you don't have the correct path to that image or that image does not exist.
