Which NAS hardware for gallery with small 720HD movies

Hello,

I#m locking for a NAS storage with the capability of installing a linux OS with the Gallery Webserver on it. Like the NSLU2 or sonmething else.

The Hardware should be fast enough to stream also (beside high res pictures) 720 HD content direct out of Gallery.

Which hardware is recommendet for such a project? Is the NSLU2 fast enough or what would you prefere?

Because I#m not so handy with Linux and hardware mods, there should be enough HowTos in the Internet for that special hardware.
