Why are colorpacks to limted?

I would love to change the background color of my gallery, to something other than the 4 choices. Is there an EASY way to do this? In Gallery 1 I just used a URL to a background I had hosted. Why can't that be done with Gallery 2?

You can just edit the css you are using. or write a theme that has the option to add a background to the userinterface.

How do I edit css? And LOL @ me being able to write a theme. Are you kidding? I can barely upload photos! :)

Almost everything in gallery is there because someone like you and me found it limiting, decided to do something about it and fed the outcomes to the rest of us.

Note I said someone like you and me, not some coding gurus sitting somewhere in cyberspace.

I first dabbled in coding stuff due to stuff I wanted for my site and got help from those more experienced than me (had to buy a couple of books and read up online tutorials too).
I look forward to you coming back in a short while with new improved colorpacks.

You have some pretty high expectations Dayo! lol But, I will fiddle with it till I either change it or crash my whole gallery *evil laugh*
