The following information is required to get an answer:
Get this information from the PHP diagnostic (in the configuration wizard).
Gallery URL (optional but very useful): Only LAN
Gallery version: 1.5.10
Apache version: 2.2.9
PHP version (don't just say PHP 4, please): 5.2.6-1+lenny8
Graphics Toolkit: Imagemagick. Have Netpbm installed as well. Both are without errors.
Operating system: Debian "Lenny"
Web browser/version (if applicable): Konqueror on server, Safari (Mac) on client machine
I have been running Gallery 1.x on my home server for many years. It was set up a long time ago, while a Debian package still existed.
I was forced to perform a completely new installation of my server due to various issues. I installed Gallery from the tar file. I run through the configuration wizard and the config is without errors (except for a warning on old Gallery version).
But when I access the Gallery page there are no photos displayed, only blank squares with a question mark. The albums and images are in the images folder, and I am able to se the images with image browsers etc. Also the structure is in place. I can navigate through the various albums and even exif data I can read. But no images, be it thumbnails, resized or full sized.
I have read through many posts in the forums and tried various suggestions, but so far without any progress.
Have somebody experienced anything like this? Any suggestions?
Thanks
Ole

Just a short update:
I installed Gallery2 and imported the G1 albums. All went fine. I have now removed the old albums from the system along with the G1 installation. Still do not know what was the problem but have now the system I want.
