Dumb version of Gallery

Is there a dumb version of Gallery out there.

I basically want an easy method for uploading single or multiple pictures and to display them in an intuitive method.

I have Gallery 6 (oops, I mean 2.3) installed and am about to move it from Linux to windows and considering the change over options.

I have seen Coppermine? Thoughts?

I did a test install of Gallery(2) in windows and it was a bit of a mightmare getting all the components working. Is it easier with 3?

Do you have a time machine?

G3 is easier to install and use than G2 but lacks features that some people consider basic.
