Good morning.
We are users of the Gallery2 long time and it is very important to our university, PUCRS (www.pucrs.br).
We are very interested in the development of feature 1221234 (boolean search) and would like to know the possibility of their implementation within a fast through a donation.
Would you like an assessment of this possibility and what it would cost to develop and implement this feature in a reasonable period.

What suprsidr posted is going to be your only option unless you want to code it yourself. Though you should be able to find the patch needed in those search results as I know someone has posted something in the past.

Development has essentially ceased on G2 and all development efforts are focused on G3. Even with that, the core dev team doesn't take, AFAIK, donations to get features done. Individual developers do if it's something that interests them and there is a forum for that. But that's not been Gallery's "business model" to date, if you were to claim that Gallery even has a "business model".
