My own front end with Gallery back-end?

	Hi! I have a custom- plus Joomla-installed Web gallery. My new back-end features need to implement exif site searches and desktop image uploads onto server, etc. Is it easy to implement my own front end using the Gallery backend? 	Displaying gallery content in other applications is easy. For flash I use xml. -s FlashYourWeb and Your Gallery with The E2 XML Media Player for Gallery2
