gallery in a new window

good day every body

please i need help optimizing a code on my page so that when i click on a thumbnail picture to open a pop-up window with list of like 5 pictures on a side and one of them maximized on same popped window and when anyone click on one of the side listed pictures it change also to be able to add description to each picture displays . can anyone please help me with this
