Sorry but I am very new to the website hosting area and am in need of some serious help. I have created a website for my son's baseball team. I am wanting to have Gallery set up so that the parents can post pics of their players in one area. What do I need to do in order to allow them to do that? Thats question 1. Question 2 is there a way to personalize the page using my own background images and if so how is that done?
Thanks for any help yall can give.

I'd create a user specifically for the parents and give them all the login creds necessary for that user. Create one album in which that user can create sub albums for specific games, upload images....
This way you as admin can moderate, create other albums they have no influence over...
I happen to be the master gallery embed specialist. If you have a site already up in which you want gallery to look part of, post a link.

Without the psd, this is the best I can do. http://www.flashyourweb.com/photos.php
You really need to lose the spinning baseball, it's 16MB - the spinning hat too(5MB).
This layout is one huge table. I broke it up into four, but it would be better to do it differently.
I know Adobe loves the image swap for menus, but I'd lose it in favor of a png sprite. That image swap script was written in like 1996.

thank you for the help it looks great. i probably wrote this site in the most difficult way possible. each page is done individual. like i said i'm very new to this. i used dreamweaver to put the site together and dreamed it all up in photoshop. how could i embed this so that it is user friendly as well as the ability for parents to upload their photos and the buttons still be functional per the actual site. the photo gallery page is http://millardredbulls.com/millardredbullsphotos/main.php

Here is an example of a simple site layout.

Separating the header, menu, content, and footer allows you to alter one without interfering with the layout of the others.
This makes it a ton easier to create content pages, simply changing that column.
One background image per section and transparent png menu items make for much easier slicing and maintenance.(try adding an extra menu item the way you have it now)
You could even create the menu in its own php file and call it into each page with a php call, so adjusting the menu becomes dynamic to each page.
Gallery tends to be wide, hiding the left sidebar menu and leaving a simple "Home" link may be in order for that page.(same could be done for header/footer as well)

I'm new to Gallery and have set it up through an automatic setup through a CPanel. The version is 3.0 and I'm wondering how I set it up. I do not know where the admin area is or what steps I should take it start doing the set up. Sounds a bit daft, but I really want to get this up so I can get 45th Reunion pictures up for all alumni to see.
Could someone help?
