Programatically disable an album?

I am running a fairly recent svn of G2, and I have a bit of an issue.

I have come to realize that legislation passed a cpl of years back leaves me choise but to have my users accept and sign a Term of Service to keep my arse clear.

So, I made the process of accepting said ToS simple, and all was well.

Well, apart from the users who has not done so, either because they do not want to, or have not understood that they must.

What I would like to do now is to be able to disable a user album programatically given a user name.

Can someone see a way to do this? (We're talking about 2000+ user albums here...)
