Hello, I'm sorry but I'm a Windows Guy so that’s way I'm try to install Gallery3 on a Windows 2008 System and it works perfect. I's my first time that I'm using Gallery and it's a coot tool! But now I like to move or reinstall the Database on a MS SQL 2008 Server, because I have it and I have a Backup and Monitoring for it... Can anybody help me? Does anybody have documentation for the installation? I can't find anything in the WWW! Thanks for all Help, regards grunzibär from Bavarian |

MS SQL is not supported in any way. Windows and IIS are only supported via the community and not officially by the project.
Nobody, afaik, has done any work in trying to get G3 to work with MS SQL at all. I know someone was working on PostgreSQL but I don't think that has gotten very far.
You'll need to use MySQL or develop MS SQL support yourself:
