change of layout

I would like to change about the following representation
Dei line where "Site Admin" Your Account "Logout" Sidebar "and Gallery» test (Gallery path) to get to the new height (same line) such as' Show Sidebar, Add Comment ... "
I have an adapted hntergrundfarbe the css, but the images in the background is still gray and not black, the rest I could change.
I would save space again. In which file I should change this?

Moreover, I would like to save these changes as a separate topic.

I could customize the layout, just something I have not found, as I distance between the "Galley, Doodle, & c. (line)" and can reduce the "Login / Sidebar".

I would like my new layout saved under a different name, so the original layouts are all still there.

To save your theme under a different name, you'll need to edit a few things.

Put it in your directory
/themes/mytheme (keep spaces out of it and preferably lower-case to make life easier)

Then edit the theme.inc file you copied over and replace references to the old theme.

For example, if you copy the Matrix theme and call your theme Deltrix then replace:

Matrix with Deltrix

and

matrix with deltrix

and name your directory /themes/deltrix

the save on the new theme are OK, now i little question.

I could customize the layout, just something I have not found, as I distance between the "Galley, Doodle, & c. (line)" and can reduce the "Login / Sidebar".

I'm not 100% what you're asking. Please take a screenshot of your page and markup what you want changed.
