Hi! I've been looking for a nice, economic, complete hosting with apache 2, I've found great hostings but none run on apache 2, like godaddy. I cancelled my account. I paid iPage, which is an excelente hosting but runs on apache 1.3, so they gave me a refund: excellent service and support.
I like gallery 3 so much that I am basing the choice of my hosting on whether they have apache 2 or not.
So far, I haven't been lucky.
Which hosting would you guys recommend?

Regards!
MEng. Carlos I. Romero.

I use Surpass Hosting (Power shared hosting plan), http://www.surpasshosting.com and while cPanel reports Apache version 1.3.41 Gallery 3 runs just fine on it. No errors or complaints during G3 installation or usage. I have two separate galleries running there now. I think their new servers actually do use Apache 2 now. You can verify that with them though.

Thanks,
Mark H.

i sell cheap hosting privately. i run a couple of g3 instances on my servers already without any problems at all (installs fine, detects imagemagick/gd/ffmpeg/etc automatically, etc). PM me for competitive pricing if you're interested.
