Namaste!

OK, I'll add my "query" to the permissions stack...

1. Is there a place I can be directed to that outlines what permissions improvements are to be made?

2. While I appreciate the simplified permissions system in Gallery3, from a practical aspect it is far too loose. People should be able to modify their own stuff to their hearts' content, but, not be able to modify anything else unless permission is given to do so.

3. More specifically, I've created a "master album" to which I want members to add to, but not be able to change the album information nor anyone else's images in that album. This isn't possible under the current paradigm. Also, "remove actions" doesn't work the way I need it to as well (from what I can discern - seems to global).

4. Permissions should be on a group as well as individual level.

Thanks!

Peace, Love, and Light,

I'll jump on this bandwagon gladly.

Granular permissions! Why is it that it's an 'all or nothing' permission model? As a registered user I can delete other people's pictures! Not cool.

Without that kind of simple permission control this isn't usable on a general scale. Why should any user be able to edit another user's images without an express grant?
