I think for lightbox to work your resized image needs to be larger then 600 pixels.

As for the ' thing I need to find some sort of solution for that so it doesn't break everything.

Thanks professorx for the info about the Admin stuff not working only when lightbox is enabled. I now have a much better starting point.

Lifesayko have you checked the lightbox checkmark in the greypop theme settings.

If you click My Account then click the edit tab there is an auto subscription box you can check. That's how I know when someone posts to this thread.

You either need to edit album.tpl or albumlight.tpl I believe it is to get rid of those.

Love the theme. Still trying to tweak it the way I want.

Only thing I'm stuck on is changing full size viewing. What I'd like is to click on a thumbnail, have it enlarged to the standard 640x480 viewing size, and have that picture link to the next picture in the gallery at 640x480.

Anyway to make this possible?

I've tried playing around with gallery permissions but haven't found what I'm looking for.

Please help.

*edit. I'd even be happy if the enlarged photo didn't link to anything.

So you don't want any risizes at all. Under Edit Album under Album uncheck the resizes.

Ok, now is there a way to remove the link from the enlarged photo? Mine still links back and forth from ...imageViewsIndex=1 and ...imageViewsIndex=0.

jayeighty, in photo.tpl there are a couple if then statements that you could delete the link out of to do that.

S1L1C0N, if you want next and previous thumbnails next to the photo you can turn on microthumbs. If you just want the words next and previous you'll have to change the code to add that. That's one of the things I took out when I made this theme. To see how it's done refer to the matrix theme. That's the theme I based greypop on.

I notice that you are using an embedded gallery. Do the microthumbs show if you go directly to gallery instead of it being embedded. I know Drupal cuts some of the stuff out of the theme.

Hi LVTHUNDER, I also think your theme is great but would like to ask a newbie question regarding lightbox. My site ( www.digitalslr.com.au/gallery ) has Gallery 2.1 and I installed your theme version 1.2. There are only 2 issues for me. The first is that I have albums inside albums and whenever I have lightbox turned on and I go to open a photo that is say 2 albums deep all I get in IE is a white box with a red cross in the centre. I then copied that same photo out into the front page and then Lightbox opens it no problems ( as long as the image is 600 x or bigger. So the question is; Does lightbox have an issue opening photos 2 or 3 albums deep? As in my site it does.

The second less pressing issue is when lightbox does open a photo I get the red cross where close should be.

Any help on these would be appreciated as I really think the lightbox feature is the icing on the cake and I'd love to be able to use it.

ps. I currently have Lightbox turned off but if you need for me to turn it back on for testing I can do that.

Sir Tristram try the new version of the theme. If that doesn't work let me know and leave lightbox on so I can see what it's doing. I tried creating a subalbum and it worked just fine for me.

The new version of the theme fixes the issue of lightbox messing up some of the theme options. It also fixes the issues with a resizeid not being generated.

I still cannot see ImageFrame in Modules under Site Admin. And if I have LightBox enabled, I cannot navigate to an album containing images, any of them.

S1L1C0N Try this. In theme.inc look for $lboxMaxEdge = 650; and change it to $lboxMaxEdge = 600;

Also you need to change the title. It has my name on your gallery. Since your using an embedded gallery you might just want to take that title out.

As for the imageframe module if it doesn't show up in the list maybe the distribution you downloaded didn't have it. Go to the downloads link and download it.

I feel so stupid. I thought the ImageFrame folder you included WAS the module haha. OK so I got that part working, thank you so much. However the lighbox module is still a nogo. FYI for example in the misc folder I have everything from avatar size images to large. Is the min size whats hurting lightbox? Can LB be enabled for some albums not others?

S1L1C0N Lightbox can only be enabled or disabled per theme. It looks like you have it disabled right now. I know earlier on the album Member Rides it was working. It was using the full size image though because your resized picture was 10 pixels too short. That was why I suggested changing that value.

It is now on. also gallery is extremely slow with this theme running, any ideas? The misc gallery is one big album with no subs so its the best test.

For speed try and deactivate the lightbox module. Some of your albums are so large that the module has to read information about each picture in the album so lightbox can find all the pictures that aren't on the current page. I also saw that some of your pictures have more then one resized image. What settings do you have for the resizes. Besides lightbox most of my theme is just rearranging stuff and changing the colors of the Matrix theme.

Ahhh that was it, I didn't know that LB preloaded a ton of info, much better now. Yes I did have 3 sizes, I just trimmed it down to 1, so it should be that one and then original size right?

1. Does anyone know how to remove the date time info under the albums and the pictures? I love the theme, but I was hoping that was an option with it.

2. Also, how can I change the default slideshow setting from 320 X whatever to something larger so the viewer or guest doesn't have to do this ( they probably would not know how anyway). Any ideas?

BTW- I love the theme! This theme and carbon are my favorites.

2. I don't know how to do that. You might do a search here and see if it comes up.

i had some problem with the item actions drop down menu.
because the album owners(registerd users without admin privileges) couldn't see the album actions drop down menu and the item actions drop down menu on the photo site.

so i changed the code from the album.tpl on line 162:

album.tpl:

i've commented the first part out because otherwise you get two menus for the admin (but i don't know why)

i hope that isn't totally wrong;)
i just changed it right now and it seems to work. maybe there is some otherway to change it but i didn't figure it out yet.
and it's definitely not a theme bug because it also didn't work with the matrix theme. maybe there is somewhere an option for that?

for an option this should work:

add this to theme.inc on line 124

Why is it when i have lightbox on I see two blank image navigation links on the bottom of the pictures? And how can I allow users to delete their OWN albums? How do I put it in drop down list? very good theme lvthunder. thanks

Love this theme. I'm really enjoying it.

My problem is, when the image comes up, the information about the photo itself does not populate, the only thing I get is "Close X" and everything else is blank.

I know I'm missing something stupid. Could you please help me locate and fix my problem?

Wow you changed it a lot. I don't even reconize it. The information is actually there. It's just white text on a white background. So you need to mess with the CSS a bit more.

First, outstanding job FredP. How did you get that blur effect on your border. That looks very nice.

And I came here to ask lvthunder if you have any idea how to prevent the gallery title from showing up twice. Even pointing me to the right file to edit would help. Thanx for the great template. I'm building a site for my neice. www.leighleighphoto.net if you want to have a look. Nothing special. Those are just a couple of my pics I put up for now. Also, I tried centering using the bbcode and it doesn't work in gallery. Is there a place to add bbcodes that you know of. I bet fred used html on his? I might have to do that.

Teraforce, I'm not exactly sure what your talking about the title showing up twice. I tried looking at the link, but I'm getting a server not found message. As regards to BBCode I think the only place you can use that is when you are adding a comment. All the templates are either CSS or Smarty (which is HTML with some special tags thrown in).

Hi all..
I've been running greypop on my one webpage for my personal pictures, and I had a 2nd domain name just laying around (nice huh?), so I decided last night to embed gallery2 into e107 using the greypop theme.

I was just trying to keep up with the thread.
What is the current version of the greypop theme?!?

Also,
I'd like to show exif data under the picture while it is viewed in a webpage.
While viewing the picture in the lightbox, I don't want to see any info under the picture.. How do I modify that?

I'm sorry, here's the right link http://leighleighphoto.net . But it does it on your site even where it the main album, photography by Stephen shows up twice. It looks redundant when you're on the main album. I realize it changes when I go to another album but I would rather get rid of one instance of it somehow.

Yes, the exif module is activated. I only want to see exif data on the 'webpage view' of the photo, not in the lightbox overlay.

You need to modify photolight.tpl and remove the EXIF block from the link. You also need to edit the tpl file in modules/lightbox/template/block and do the same thing.

Minimalist, classy, user-friendly.

It's just incredible.

Sadly, i can't make the "lightbox" (spinning circle?), appear.

I have tried with Lightbox 1.0.1 module active and not, but it just goes directly to the picture.

Any idea on what could i be missing?

Liquid_Squelch you need to edit photolight.tpl and take the EXIF out of the links. You also need to edit the tpl file of the module if you use it.

kwanbis did you edit the lightbox.js to define the path to the images.
