I GIVE UP!!

i have finally given up trying to install both gallery 2.2 or 1.5. midway thru each install i get error messages (see separate posts by "nightowl1000") but there are no places to click on to change or correct the errors. i ve spent 10 hours trying to install this software and still i am no further then step 4 of the installer. i really looked forward to using this on my website but i cant waste anymore time.

We have tried go help you out. Valiant has responded to 2 of your posts and is waiting for your answer now.

You have G2 installed and from what I can see in aother post but your host has some restrictions on your files EG:
http://www.connecticutdrumcorps.com/gallery2/themes/matrix/theme.css

Your G1 install has a error message that is very self explanatory

I will follow if if you wish. You need to create/and or add the information to the configuration wizard. But I suspect that if your host does not allow some files like the css above you will have issues with clicking on the tabs in the configuration wizard to add this information.
The red asterisks (*) on each tab mean that you have to add information on those tabs and the install will fail if you don't. But you would not see the tabs if your host disallows css.

But if "I GIVE UP!!" is the answer then that is your decision.
