I cannot fine the Site Administration Area of Gallery anyplace on my page. I just downloaded gallery 2 and am trying to get started. After 2 hrs. of searching and poking things, still no site admin. available.
Login and click Site Admin in upper right corner. If that doesn't help, post a link to your site.

I'm not even sure what "a link" you are talking about.
Click Login in the upper-right corner, login as an administrator and once logged in, click on Site Admin
I notice that your Gallery was setup 2 months ago. Did someone else set it up for you?

There is no "Site Admin" on this site. This site is purely for supporting Gallery, the same software you installed on your site 2 months ago.

So do I have to re-install gallery 2 in order to receive a site admin. button?
The admin password is probably still the same password that's stored in your config.php file. Just FTP to your site and download that. That contains the initial password you set when you installed Gallery on your site. The default admin username is admin

Checking with Fat Cow, my site wasn't existing 2 months ago. does that help?
How did you get Gallery installed on your site? Based on the questions you're asking, I'd really recommend you find someone to assist in maintaining your site for you or teach you the basics of website management, FTP, HTML, CSS, DNS, SSH (more advanced)

The date doesn't matter. I was looking at the date posted on your Gallery page: fineartphotoguy.com
Maybe look at Fat Cow's control panel and if they have a file manager, look for config.php in there.

I don't think its installed on my site, I'm asking help from fat cow to find it, they can't either. can you help with that? I was assured that I didn't need command of computer language to use Gallery 2.
It is installed on your site. It's a blank page because serving up the contents of config.php would be a major security flaw. Programming language knowledge? No, you don't need that. Basics of website management? You can't get away from that no matter what you do. Well I guess you could use smugmug, or flickr or blogspot.
I don't have time to teach someone how to use FTP, sorry.

Perhaps someone else will be able to help, but if you don't know FTP or don't know of a file manager in your host's control panel then I can't help much here.
Oh wait, you can try clicking on the Login link on your site and clicking Forgot Password.

I'VE finally gotten a password, got to the first page (http://fineartphotoguy.com/main.php) and logged in, but they won't accept my login, I've done it too many times. Its the first time today I could get in, how can it be that I've used it too many times?

Since you don't know FTP or your host's control panel, but apparently know how to re-install Gallery. Try that.

It's already at your site:
www.fineartphotoguy.com/config.php
FTP
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File_Transfer_Protocol
http://www.google.com/search?q=what+is+ftp
How did you get Gallery installed on your site? Based on the questions you're asking, I'd really recommend you find someone to assist in maintaining your site for you or teach you the basics of website management, FTP, HTML, CSS, DNS, SSH (more advanced)
You might even be able to find someone in your area:
http://www.google.com/search?q=web+designer+canyon+lake,+tx

How can that be?
