I downloaded it, just before installing the 1.6.4 version. I've tried to access this from a PC client and get the same result in IE, Firefox and Safari

I will try update my version to that latest version may be something has been changed
I'm also seeing login issues after updating to the newest git version of the gallery.....
when I hit login- it takes me to a white page with the login/password and after I enter my info and hit submit, it takes me to a white page that says: {"result":"success"}.

there should be 2 pages worth of photos, but your theme isn't generating anything so I can go to the 2nd page..you can view the 2nd page of that album here:
if works just fine in the default theme, but not yours.

Hi Serge, my site - www.fotobank.it - is on your GREAT Greydragon theme (take a look at it): why sidebar doesn't work/move using top buttons? Also, after updating to the newest git version of the gallery3 (v.21), Random Image doesn't work anymore and View Slideshow doesn't work in 3D. I'm sorry for my terrible english, thank you for your great work, Domenico Guercia - Florence - Italy.

not really sure what you're talking about..the only 'button' I see is the little 'I' on the bottom right of the photo that tells you how many views the photo has received and blah blah.
also, I've changed my theme back to your theme..

@guercia: Let's try and check few things:
a) Did it work before or it is your first attempt?
b) If you used theme before, what was the last version?
c) Could you please visit Theme Options page and save settings. Does it chnage anything?
d) Random Image: as you can see from demo site it works for me. How did you update?
e) Yes, I have noticed that Slideshow is now only work in 2D. There were some changes to the slideshow module which asks to reinstall the cooliris... I cannot make it work for me either. Please check with G3 dev team.

about pages:
a) Could you do me a favor and visit Admin/Settings/Advanced Settings and check what value is set for th_greydragon/photonav_position, if any. Post here
b) Go to Theme Options and make sure that "Allowed Photo Navigator" is set to Top, Bottom or Both. Save settings. Check the result

This is all I see with the prefix th_greydragon under 'advanced' using your theme-
th_greydragon copyright
th_greydragon logo_path
th_greydragon mainmenu_position top
th_greydragon photonav_bottom 1
th_greydragon photonav_top 1
th_greydragon sidebar_allowed any
th_greydragon sidebar_visible right
also...my photo navigator is set to both.
and I checked on your photo info question...I see it pop up in the center of the page with photo details so it appears to be working just fine. see attached
ps- nice photos man.

Hello,
I recently installed Gallery3 and unfortunately I can't seem to get GreyDragon working. When I activate the theme I get a blank page on the main gallery screen. Here is the error I get when I enable the local.php file.
So here's the error:
Undefined index: sb
File: themes/greydragon/libraries/MY_Theme_View.php, line: 26
And here's how we got there:
What version of PHP do you have?
Do you have latest git?
Could you visit Admin/Appearance/Theme Options and see if there are any messages in prerequisite section
Edit: Could you try replace $_REQUEST in themes/greydragon/libraries/MY_Theme_View.php with $_GET and see if it would help?

@Serge: [/i]I have been trying GreyDragon on my test site, and have run into an issue with the tags module. Links in the tags sidebar bring me to a blank gallery. This works fine if I switch to the default Wind theme. Any thoughts on how to solve this?
I am running the 1.7.1 version of GreyDragon and the GIT G3 core from about 3 days ago.

I am ruining latest experimental version and latest theme from codex.
I do not see an issue you have mentioned.
Please visit Maintenance page and make sure that "Update Search Index" is up to date and no other tasks require attention.
If this is not an issue, then Please make sure you are using latest code.
please drop/replace theme folder to make sure there are no residual files from version before 1.7.1

@Serge: Pulled the latest git this morning. Removed and re-installed GreyDragon. All maintenance tasks were up to date. I tried updating search index anyway, but it updated 0 entries. The problem still exists, but I was able to narrow it down a little more: if the sidebar is off when I am looking at the tag album, it shows fine. If the sidebar is on (either left or right side), the images do not appear.
The issue is not with the visibility of a DIV or anything like that -- when the sidebar is on, a "view source" on the page reveals that the images are simply not there. When the sidebar is off, the images and associated html/css are all present in the view source.
My environment is pretty standard: Ubuntu, Apache 2.2.x, PHP 5.2.x, ImageMagick, MySQL 5.1.x.

ok, elaborate a little bit more, please
what do you mean by "if the sidebar is off when I am looking at the tag album"
which browser do you use? link to the page? do you have any additional tag related modules except default one?
as you can see tags work fine within my demo page... so we need to gather more info

@Serge:
When I mentioned the sidebar I was referring to the little icons you put at the top right of your theme -- Sidebar Left, No Sidebar, and Sidebar Right. When set to Sidebar Left or Sidebar Right, there are no images. When set to No Sidebar, the images appear.
As I thought more about that, I began disabling other modules one by one. It seems that the issue exists with the combination of EmbedLinks and GreyDragon. With EmbedLinks turned off, the images appear in tag albums regardless of the sidebar setting. With EmbedLinks turned on and the GreyDragon theme, they only appear with the sidebar turned off. With EmbedLinks and the Wind theme, the sidebar only has one location (right side), and the images appear fine.
I have tried both FF and IE8 with identical results, so I don't think this is browser-related.

OK. "White page in FF (possible in Safary as well)" problem culprit has been found - Organize module. For some reason it crashes the core preventing root page being loaded. Disabling it would make theme work again.
In organize_theme.php the following line crashes under FF
Quote:
if ($item && access::can("edit", $item) && $item->is_album()) {
I don't like Organize in current stage anyway. To cumbersome and hard to adjust by the theme... I think dedicated self-contained page would be much better and easier to manage.

The new login functionality that keeps track of failed logins seems to have broken 1.7.1. Login works, but it is in a new page, not an overlay box. When you successfully login, you get this message ({"result":"success"}) in the new window, and have to hit the back button twice to get to the gallery.

Latest version works fine for me with one small exception: all of the sudden, sidebar does not appear when I am logged off.
It shown fine when I am logged in... I will have to check that.
Please try latest version, but remember to save your theme settings after update to refresh VARS.
Edit: Problem identified - Tags module. If placed in the sidebar, it kills the whole sidebar
Edit: Make sure that you have no prerequisite warnings for the theme.

you need to install the shadowbox module then activate it and you should be good.
@serge- your theme isn't refreshing the page after uploading photos...you have to manually refresh. works fine in the default theme.

@ady1503: 3rd party modules are not supported out of the box because they relay on the default theme too much. I will try and see what need to be done there.

@Serge:

I don't like Organize in current stage anyway. To cumbersome and hard to adjust by the theme... I think dedicated self-contained page would be much better and easier to manage.

Same here with theme 1.7.1 and Gallery experimental from 28/01/2010

I have fixed more for upload dialog in 1.7.2 to keep queue and status log entries inside respected boxes...
I will publish it some time next week

versions 1.7.2/1.7.3 are out

I'm on the latest version of git as of 2AM of 2/5

@Shemo725: I will check refresh issue. I have noticed that with one of the latest builds, but did not have time to check it.
@ady1503: 3rd party modules are not supported out of the box because they relay on the default theme too much. I will try and see what need to be done there.
I do not see any issues with Permission menu. Please provide more details. Same for second issue mentioned.
But before you do anything, please visit /admin/theme_options and make sure that there are no warnings in Prerequisite section
