I have the pear theme with the mosaic setting as default. I tried this in an incognito window (chrome) with the same results - the linkback from facebook opens in grid mode no matter what.

HI Erlis,
I am deeply attracted by this amazine theme, it is so nice.
However, I am encountering a problem that the Chinese can not be shown correctly.
- in Grid mode, it can be shown correct in browser page, but can't be shown when click into any one image.
- In Mosaic mode, suppose the image title show be shown under the photo, but it shows a wrong encoding charset too.
- In Slideshow mode, the problem is still there.
May I have your help on anyway to solve this problem? Thanks a lot!

Sometimes the main image, and the OPTION LIST LINKS above the image (edit, rotate, delete, etc.) do not center (they are left-aligned). This happens most of the time after using the OPTION LIST LINK = "Delete This Photo". When I refresh the web page, the image and option list are properly centered again. On rare occasion, this centering problem occurs when opening an album in Mosaic view. I tried to include a screen shot for reference. Otherwise, this is a superb theme. THANK YOU!

Strange, I'll try to have a look at it. But this is considered a minor issue.

Among other changes we now have the option to change the photo-resize size (under theme options) & support for no album skimming (set skimm_img to 0).

Its been a while since I have tested the theme but I think there is a skimm_lim setting on the themes admin page. Change to 1 and you should be good to go.

It seems to be a client error (but I for sure can't figure out why it seems to work better in the default wind theme).
The trick is to get your browser to support UTF-8 encoding, this is set automatically with the following entry in the header of the page:

I did visit your page and no matter which charset I tried I had the same issue. How did you set the "special" chars?
Can you try to rename the photos within gallery (using my theme) and see if you can get rid of the issue.
Is the issue for just photos or can you reproduce it for album names also?

I'm from Sweden where we have åäö so this is something we must support.

I have a new install of Gallery 3, I imported my Gallery 2 images and installed pear theme. However, some albums load fine where as others just come up as grey squares. If I go back to wind theme all pictures are fine. I have tried Github and codex package, both behave the same. I have rebuilt thumbs with both graphic toolkits that I have available. Any ideas what is causing this selection of images to not display? Gallery is at licoricegallery.com/pictures

hello, i'm new in gallery3 and new in pear4gallery3.
just installed gallery3. imported some photos and with the theme "wind" all seemed to work.
installed theme pear4gallery3.
all works. thumbs and so.
but see no photos.
download of photos however works.

unfortunatly i got some real troubles with the internet explorer (runs fine with Firefox).
The root album renders fine but the pictures that are within the albums don't appear. do you have a solution for this or a fix?

hello, i'm new in gallery3 and new in pear4gallery3.

just installed gallery3. imported some photos and with the theme "wind" all seemed to work.
installed theme pear4gallery3.
all works. thumbs and so.
but see no photos.
download of photos however works.
what am i missing? what did i wrong?
