I just stumppled across this re above. Is sorta fixed it. in g2 i have it defined with drop down
but it displays as a radio button?

fixed adding this lines to the "includes/languages/english.php " file

Hi all

Great theme! :)

How do I change the drop down menu options to normal text? I just want the "Add to cart" text / buttons to be below each image, instead of the drop down menu, as the example shows:

I have unticked the "Use dropdown menu", under the "Item actions", but it still shown a drop down.

Hi All

Using this cool theme.

I want to add a few things to the menu like conact, about me etc. I have used the top nav link function on the overal theme in the pg theme setup. I can display the menu names ok, but what do i need to enter into the top nav url to lik to these pages? Is this the correct method to do this.

My thinking is i need to creat a contact.php file (what can i edit to make this file).
Then i need to point to this file with the top nav url. Put i want to use relative links.

I have seaech but had no luck, can some shed some light on to do this, that is simple as i do not understand code.

I think it would be a good idea to do it so it is active in all themes (if this is possible)

I want to take top-center the top navigation menu (system links). It is aligned right and I've not any options for taking it to center. Please help me.

I just upgraded my gallery to 2.2.4, and it looks like PG Theme 1.1.0 works fine in this upgrade.
Just one small bug. There seem to be an error with the table width in panoramaview:

...or do I have to change to X_treme.....

I installed the theme and didn't change any of the settings. I am getting this when I try to view an album:

The image just sits there and says it is loading. Like I said, I didn't change any of the defaults. What is the problem? I have (v_120) with Gallery 2.

try changing the "if ($ret->iserror()) {" line to "if ($ret)

Hi there,

Is there any way to set what size a photo shows when you click on it from an album?
I read somewhere that it should default to the original upload size - however, mine are defaulting to one of my smaller re-size sizes...

If you then choose the size you want to view & click next - it goes back to the smaller size

I would like to have a line break in the top navigation of the PGtheme to avoid occuring a horizontal scroll bar.

How could I let automatically add a line break when the amount of links is reached which can be shown in a row without a displaying a horizontal scroll bar?

Hi, I recently noticed that some of my thumbnail images have comments under each image that are duplicate. Based on my investigation work, here is what I was able to determine:

The duplicate "view comments" link only shows up in anonymous mode
Changing the theme to others such as Matrix as an example resolves the issue
Having multiple images in one album, comment added by the user in the 5th image will show up in 6th, 7th and etc. but not om 4th or 3rd and etc...

Log in as admin does not provide one with the same behavior and does not allow one to remove duplicate comments.

Does anyone seen this behavior or has any ideas how to remove it?

There is good few polish photographers using PG theme or x-treme themes

I'm trying to download PGTheme Version 1.1.0" (Gallery2.1) here: http://www.pedrogilberto.net/pgtheme/ but the zip file is corrupted... any other link to download from?

I had to completely reinstall gallery. I reinstalled the theme but I cannot figure out why the theme's settings were not restored. Anyone know what file holds the settings made in site admin > themes > pg themes?

I'm hoping to find it and restore it but I can't figure it out.

not in a file but the database. If you started over with a DB then you have to start over with your settings.

Hi,
I installed the x-treme theme (1.0.6) in my gallery (2.3) - but its impossible to save any modfied settings
only the the global modification of the huge list of parameters works.
After reading this forum I think the problem is the suhosin parameters of the server.
Can anyone tell me what are the right limits for max_vars (and other ?)

I have Gallery 2 embedded in a Drupal site and everything looks great. PG theme fits snuggly and it is brilliantly configurable until the checkout page. This has a navigation block on the left of screen that includes a thumbnail and a back button. Since the real-estate on my site is fixed this makes the checkout screen flow beyond the right edge of the page and all of the important buttons are therefore not shown. I don't need this nav block does anyone know how it can be removed.

Hi there,

For some reason, I'm unable to change the "copyright 2006" information in the footer of my PGtheme gallery.

I clearly need to update it to 2009. I originally took out the PHP code in the footer.tpl file and replaced it with "2009" but it still showed 2006 on the website.

Any guidance would be very appreciated!

I've already deleted the cached data, and it doesn't make any difference.

What I'm looking for is how to change the copyright date in the footer from 2006 to 2009. Refer to: http://www.nadialouiseimages.com/gallery/main.php.

Did you change the date on the theme settings?
if that doe snot work take footer.tpl
and change

I am trying to change the size of the main frame (g2_page I guess) but can't find a way....

I would like it to be in % , just to avoid the floating sidebar to be over it...

anyone has an idea ?

LOVE THIS THEME!!!!
But having trouble with logo.

I uploaded my logo.png & logoon.png as instructed: If you ARE USING a PGcolorpack, the images should be located under: ".../modules/colorpack/packs/PG###/images".

Also copied and edited "theme.tpl" in a new folder "local" inside "template" folder. Edited theme.tpl by changing all logo.gif & logoon.gif to logo.png & logoon.png.

But it still posts logo.gif instead of logo.png...etc. Anywhere else I need to change code to png?

I've been trying to find out how to configure the PG Theme - I found a link here ... http://pedrogilberto.net/pgtheme/ which says "How To Configure PG Theme" , but it doesn't show any information - does anyone have a document or web link showing how to configure this great theme?
(sorry if this has already been posted, but there are 32 pages of posts in this PG forum alone)

having a slight problem with the PG theme which I hope you can help me with ... if I untick the box "show author welcome message" in the Albums section 1st page, I just get my 3 sub albums appearing on my start page. This is exactly what I want. However I then have no way of going back into the theme config of the root album as there's now no drop down list of links for the root album (this used to appear in the welcome message area) so there's now no "edit album" link for the root album. All I can do is edit sub-albums now - how do I get round this and edit the root album?

All pages on my site widen screen resolution.
Can I set all pages of my site to width 995px width exactly for all resolutions?

I hope this is the proper place to post this... I am having an issue with the Updates album within Dynamic albums...

Within the updates album, if I click the page number (2, 3, etc) it returns me to the main.php page. The link for "2" is http://www.mydomain.com/main.php?g2_view=core%3AShowItem&g2_itemId=&g2_page=2. However, if I click on the "next" arrow instead, page 2 of the album correctly displays and its link is http://www.mydomain.com/main.php?g2_view=dynamicalbum.UpdatesAlbum&g2_page=2.

I hope someone can assist. Thanks!

I suspect you don't have a recent version ofG2 or the theme.

The version of Gallery used is 2.3.1 and the version of PGTheme is 1.1.0 RC1.

All I can suggest is looking though the 32 pages in this thread. There was a similar issue with carbon theme and it was corrected.

Hello

I am using PG Lightbox but maybe someone here could answer me as well.

I am trying to find a way to get my PG Lightbox theme nicely visible on any mobile phone...
I am not ready to install G3 yet, so I wanted smth easy while waiting...
I could imagine a second theme installed just for the mobile and then an automatic browser recognition on my PG Lightbox home page which would redirect to the mobile theme....

Anybody has an idea ?
